Many students are eager to engage in medical research during high school and the early undergraduate years. However, the initial steps into research and academic publishing can be difficult to navigate. This is rarely due to a lack of ability, but rather limited access to clear methodological guidance and credible publication opportunities.
JESM exists to bridge that gap by providing a supportive yet rigorous academic platform where early researchers can develop scholarly writing skills, engage with evidence-based methodology, and contribute meaningful work to the medical and health sciences community.
What We Aim To Do
- Provide a credible, peer-reviewed publication platform accessible to beginner and early-career researchers
- Introduce students to research methodology through real academic standards
- Promote early research in the field of medicine and health sciences
- Prepare students to present at conferences, apply to research programs, and pursue future publication opportunities
